Minimum GPA: 3.5/5 (2:1 UK equivalent). Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required. Several Masters programmes taught in English. Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Science particularly strong.

IELTS: 6.5+ overall. TOEFL iBT and PTE Academic also accepted — contact admissions for equivalencies.

Can Nigerian students study at LMU Munich with WAEC?
WAEC/NECO alone is not sufficient for direct undergraduate entry at German universities. You need to either complete 1+ year at a recognised Nigerian university OR attend a Studienkolleg. For Masters programmes, a Nigerian bachelor's degree allows direct entry.
How much does LMU Munich cost?
Bavaria (where Munich is located) does not charge tuition fees — not even for non-EU international students. You only pay a small semester administrative fee of €156 per semester (~€312/year). This makes LMU one of the cheapest world-class universities on earth.
